Hi Im Notta!

Hey Lemon8 fam! It's Notta, and I'm so thrilled you're checking out my little corner here. When I first started on Lemon8, it was a bit of an experiment, but seeing all your support has been amazing! I'm primarily a comic artist and illustrator, and I absolutely love bringing stories and characters to life through my art. You might have seen my illustrated self-introduction floating around – that was my first step into sharing my passion here. But there's so much more to explore in my art collection! I dabble in all sorts of styles, from lighthearted sketches to more intense, narrative pieces. One of the illustrations that seems to resonate with a lot of you is the one titled, "About to get a haircut wish me luck." Oh my goodness, that piece came from a very real place! 😂 I think we've all been there, right? That mix of excitement and pure dread before a major hair chop. I wanted to capture that raw, relatable feeling – the neutral expression before, and the slightly distressed expression after, just for laughs. It's a reminder that even in everyday moments, there's art to be found. It wasn't based on a specific prompt of this image from someone else, but rather my own personal experience that day. Sometimes, the most genuine art comes from simply observing and feeling. Beyond those quirky relatable moments, I absolutely adore character design. You might have noticed some of my full-body character design illustrations featuring a person with blonde hair, showcasing a range of outfits from casual wear to even a superhero-like costume. I spend so much time thinking about their stories, their personalities, and how that translates into their visual appearance. Playing with a color palette is one of my favorite parts of this process – it sets the whole mood! For my female characters, I try to give them strength and individuality, whether they're in everyday clothes or epic fantasy gear. I want them to feel real, even if they're from another world. And then there are my darker, more atmospheric pieces. I love diving into concepts that are a bit mysterious or even gothic. You might have seen the dark illustration featuring a woman with glowing eyes and flowing hair sitting on a tombstone, titled 'DETRITIVORE.' That piece, and others like it, allow me to explore deeper narratives and emotions. It's a different side of my illustration work, but equally fulfilling. I'm constantly experimenting and pushing my creative boundaries. Whether it's a quick sketch or a detailed comic illustration, my goal is always to tell a story and connect with you all.
