My Chicago Moodboard • Looks From Zara & NA-KD 📔✨🧺
Posting now… will add actual pics later on this trip..
Okay, so I'm absolutely obsessed with Wicker Park in Chicago! It's got such a unique vibe – a mix of trendy boutiques, vintage shops, and cozy cafes, all wrapped up in this cool, artsy atmosphere. When I was planning my trip and thinking about my 'My Chicago Moodboard,' I knew I wanted my outfits to capture that effortlessly chic, laid-back feel that Wicker Park embodies. And honestly, who does effortless comfort better than Abercrombie & Fitch? I know, I know, A&F has evolved so much, and their current collections are perfect for that elevated casual look. I've been dreaming up a whole LOOKBOOK of outfits that would be perfect for strolling through Wicker Park, grabbing a coffee, or browsing records. For instance, imagine a crisp fall day. I'd pair some dark-wash, straight-leg jeans from A&F with one of their super soft, oversized knit sweaters – maybe in a creamy ivory or a deep forest green. Layering is key in Chicago, so a classic shacket or a structured denim jacket from their collection would be the perfect topper. You can literally find an Abercrombie & Fitch right there in Wicker Park, making it super easy to pop in for last-minute essentials or just to soak up some style inspo. Another go-to Wicker Park look for me would be a midi skirt (A&F has some great flowy options!) with a fitted long-sleeve tee or a ribbed turtleneck, topped with one of their signature flannel shirts worn open. It’s that perfect blend of feminine and rugged, ideal for exploring the neighborhood's eclectic shops. Don't forget comfy sneakers or stylish ankle boots – you'll be doing a lot of walking! I've also been eyeing their puffers and cozy outerwear. Chicago weather can be unpredictable, so having a versatile, warm coat is a must. A cropped puffer in a neutral tone would look amazing over almost any outfit, adding a touch of modern cool without sacrificing warmth. My goal for this Chicago LOOKBOOK is to create versatile pieces that can be mixed and matched, allowing me to transition seamlessly from a morning coffee run to an evening dinner without a full outfit change. It’s all about creating that 'My Chicago Moodboard' fantasy in real life! I can't wait to actually put these looks together and share the full visual experience with you all once I have all my actual pics. Stay tuned for more Wicker Park fashion diaries!
