Aesthetic work from home desk set up
I’ve been working from home for about 3 years now and I’ve found functional items that make my work day smoother so I’m sharing what has helped me!
✔️desk pad- this eliminates the need for a mouse pad and adds a clean look to your work space.
✔️wireless mouse and keyboard - for me , wires=clutter so I like to opt for wireless tools when I can!
✔️aesthetic keyboard - the company I work for sent me a wired black dell keyboard and I made the switch to wireless immediately. I figured if I have to buy a new keyboard, I might as well get a cute one!
✔️ 2 screens - most companies offer their wfh employees 2 screens, to this I ALWAYS say yes. I keep my laptop in the center so that my camera is right in front of me for meetings but I have a large screen to work and read
✔️ laptop stand - this doesn’t have to be fancy but if you’re in meetings all day, you might not want your camera angle to be coming from the level at which your desk sits. I like to prop it up so that I’m eye to eye with the camera especially for meetings with external partners and clients
✔️ desk deco - it doesn’t have to be anything fancy, could be a fake plant, family photos, or just some little inspirational quotes! This makes me workspace feel more inviting and brings stress levels down a notch!
✔️ magnetic phone charger or multi-use charger - I have an Apple Watch, AirPods and an iPhone so in order to reduce the appearance of wires, I like to opt for a charging stand or magnetic charger!
