King Hiram of Tyre, the friend of King David, sent his servants to King Solomon with wisdom from God. King Solomon asked Hiram for help, for the reason was that this was the intention of David his father. Hiram again helped his friend to build the house of God.
Solomon devised a plan to offer to Hiram, not to ask for nothing, but to send the children of Israel to join Hiram's men, and to give Hiram's men as they saw fit, and to exalt him, and to admire the wood of the inhabitants. King Hiram heard the offer, and rejoiced, and was ready to do it, and brought down to Solomon the water with cedah and cypress. Solomon also gave Hiram 2,000 tons of wheat, 4,000 liters of pure oil every year.
And Solomon took 30,000 men of Israel to help with the logging work with Hiram, and divided them, 10,000 of them into Lebanon for a month, and stayed at home for two months, and divided them into three groups. This meant that 30,000 men would learn how to cut wood, how to see trees from the Lebanese, but also with their families. And Solomon had other workers, whether haulers, stonecutters, and 3,300 supervisors to prepare wood, and prepare stones, and build the house of God.
God has given us wisdom so that we can serve Him consciously and wisely. We cannot accomplish the task alone. We rely on those around us who are adept at it. But at the same time, we not only ask for their help, we must be ready and take advantage of their learning.
Humility to ask someone for help. We have to build desire (do it for the person we love). We have to have momentum, support (send someone, send food). We have to give motivation (compensation). We have to give pride (consider him good at that). This is the principle of asking someone else for help.
