Nothing is as important as "obeying God."

Solomon built the temple well and beautifully, and used hewn stones and cedar wood. All the vessels of the temple were of gold, and overlaid all the insides with gold. The house was 27 meters long, 9 meters wide, and 13.5 meters high. It took seven years to complete the temple.
And God promised Solomon, saying, If ye walk in my statutes, and obey my laws, and keep all my commandments, I will establish my word with you, which was promised to David your father, and will dwell among the children of Israel my people, and will not forsake them.
But Israel took the temple as a substitute for God; they were convinced that it was with him, that no one could do anything to him, and that God would not punish him; for God promised to be with him, but they did not see them as violating that promise. God warned us that we would understand the fact that "obedience is better than sacrifice" (1 Samuel 15: 22).
The temple, though so beautiful and great, is not as important as obedience to the statutes, the law, all the commandments of God; for it was later destroyed because of the disobedience of Israel; nothing is as important as obedience to God; for obedience brings blessings to our lives.
