Be faithful, for our God is faithful.
On the 10th of C.E. 25, read 1 C.E. 9.1-28
After Solomon built the temple (7 years), completed the palace (13 years), Solomon prayed for the temple to be consecrated, God appeared to Solomon, to repeat the covenant.
God said to Solomon, "I have heard your prayers and your supplications. I have sanctified the temple that you have built. I have established my name there forever. My eyes and my heart will always be there."
As for you, if you walk before me with an honest and righteous heart, do all my commands, and keep the law with my provisions, you will not lack a ruler on the throne; but if you or your offspring abandon me, you will not obey the commands and laws I have given you...I will turn this temple into ruins, and Israel will become a mockery...For they forsook God, and the Lord brought upon them all this evil.
The promise is the agreement of two parties to fulfill their duty, and if one of them breaks the promise, it is void. Give thanks to God. Even though many times we have not kept the promise, God is always faithful. By grace and love, God continues to do what He has promised, for faithfulness is the nature of God.
God is faithful, whatever we face today, let us be faithful in following Him in our steps, and we will be safe, secure, and peaceful. "God does not demand that we succeed. He only wants us to be honest, loyal to this God alone."# Christian # Thank God # Christian # JESUS
