Soldiers of Jesus Christ

1 year 11.1-47

After the end of Saul, the people gathered together to make David king. They repeated God's promise to prepare David as a shepherd over them. David was anointed king before the people of Hebron, according to God's word. David lived in Hebron seven and a half years.

And it came to pass, that Joab was able to break through the walls of Jebus, and to make David victorious over Jebus: and David was great, because God was with David.

Next is the list of the valiant warriors of David, both Jashobaam, who raised his spear against the Philistines 300 at once, and Eleazar, though all the others fled, but he stood firm, and defended until he won, because God saved them with a great victory.

It is said of three brave men who put their lives to death, breaking through the camp of the Philistines to drink water from the well of Bethlehem, according to David's desire. But when David knew it, he felt guilty. God forbid me not to do this, because like taking another man's life in exchange for his own desire, David poured it out to God, because God alone deserves the water dedicated to life.

And many more lists of the valiant men of David, Abishai, Beniah, Asahel, etc., despite the great number of men, yet David kept reminding himself that God is the army, God is with him, and He gives victory.

We, the soldiers of the Lord Jesus... be prepared to go to battle every time, for Christ helps....The soldiers of the Lord Jesus, when we have to go to war against evil, we triumph not to fear...Soldiers of the Lord Jesus, human strength cannot help. Don't rely on yourself...The soldiers of the Lord Jesus, if anyone wins the devil, will have the crown, and live with the Lord Jesus, occupying heaven for ever and ever... Arise, the soldiers of Christ. Jesus, the captain of our army, has prevailed.
