Do you remember Joseph?
His brother called him "the dreamer" to ridicule him. When the opportunity arose, they even wanted to kill him. In fact, Joseph was not a "dreamer." He simply foresaw what God would do, but his brother did not see it. They could not even expect... the wonderful fate that awaited Joseph. If compared to our time, Joseph's position was the same as Egypt's prime minister. Egypt was considered the greatest geopolitical power of the time, but God would use Joseph to save them and their entire family (Bible, Genesis 37).
"Joseph" means "May Yahweh increase or multiply." When God gives us multiplication through thoughts, ideas, visions, dreams, or challenges, it can be difficult for those around us to understand. Their lack of understanding may be deeply rooted in us, and we must find a way to deal with it. Sometimes, even more than this lack of understanding, a sense of rejection can arise.
Joseph was rejected, thrown into a pond, and sold into slavery by his brother, and then, he was in prison for many years, forgotten by all, but God never forgot him, in fact, it was God's plan to use him to save many lives, Joseph went through these difficulties to follow a plan much greater than his personal plans, and finally saved his brothers.
However, being rejected is not easy. I myself have experienced it. Being rejected by some brothers in Christ, and colleagues is sometimes difficult to bear. But through these difficulties, I learned many things, especially about forgiveness, and perseverance.
Have you ever had the pain of rejection or just not understanding from others? What do you do? It is important to know that this may be part of God's plan to lead you to a greater destination. He wants to live your life to do amazing things, things much greater than yourself, so that by your life even those who have rejected you may be blessed and saved, and in this way you can become a true miracle for others.
