⚠️ Warning! Over 3 lakh pieces of famous brand contact lenses seized
Just saw a post from the CIB page saying that over 3 hundred thousand contact lenses have been seized, officials have identified them as imported products without FDA permission and no medical equipment import notice.
At first we were shocked because we also had this lens at home, so we flipped the box to see that there was no FDA number on the box, only Chinese and QR Code information taken to WeChat.
Unlike normal Thai products that should have a "number" and the name of the Thai importer on the label.
🔸 What the FDA warns is that contact lenses are medical instruments.
If imported without permission, cleanliness, storage, and eye risks may be present.
💡 Anyone using a lens recommends checking the back of the box if there is an FDA number. If not, stop using it first.

จากประสบการณ์ส่วนตัวในการใช้คอนแทคเลนส์ การเลือกซื้อสินค้าที่ได้รับอนุญาตจาก อย. และมีเลข อย. ระบุชัดเจนบนแพ็คเกจถือเป็นสิ่งสำคัญมาก เพราะคอนแทคเลนส์เป็นเครื่องมือแพทย์ที่ต้องได้รับการควบคุมคุณภาพอย่างเคร่งครัด เคยมีครั้งหนึ่งที่ฉันซื้อคอนแทคเลนส์จากร้านค้าออนไลน์ซึ่งไม่มีเลข อย. พอใช้แล้วเกิดรู้สึกเคืองตาและระคายเคือง เราจึงหยุดใช้ทันทีและไปตรวจสอบกับร้านที่น่าเชื่อถือแทน นอกจากนี้ยังใช้วิธีสแกน QR Code แนบมากับกล่องเลนส์ แต่พบว่าเป็นข้อมูลภาษาจีนและเชื่อมโยงไปยังแอป WeChat ซึ่งไม่น่าไว้ใจเลย จึงอยากแนะนำให้ทุกคนที่ใช้คอนแทคเลนส์ควรตรวจสอบข้อมูลบนกล่องให้ละเอียด ทั้งเลข อย., ชื่อผู้นำเข้า และแหล่งที่มาของสินค้า หากไม่มีข้อมูลเหล่านี้หรือสินค้านั้นดูไม่น่าเชื่อถือ ควรหลีกเลี่ยงและหยุดใช้ทันทีเพื่อป้องกันอันตรายที่อาจเกิดขึ้นกับสายตา อีกทั้งเมื่อเจอข่าวการตรวจยึดสินค้าดังกล่าว ควรติดตามข่าวสารจากผู้เกี่ยวข้อง เช่น สำนักงานคณะกรรมการอาหารและยา (อย.), ตำรวจสอบสวนกลาง (CIB) และสื่อข่าวที่น่าเชื่อถือ เพื่อความปลอดภัยของตัวเองและคนรอบข้าง
