Looking back on the past year, I’ve realized how much joy comes from celebrating the small but meaningful moments with loved ones. For instance, spending New Year's playing games with my family was a perfect way to connect, laugh, and create lasting memories. Family game nights are such a fun tradition that really bring everyone together, no matter the age. Valentine’s Day this year was deeply special as I celebrated love with my significant other. Alongside this, I hosted a Galentine’s Day party for my daughters and their friends — a delightful way to encourage female friendship and celebrate the bonds between women through fun activities and good company. One of the highlights was my mother-in-law’s birthday, celebrated in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains. I baked her a traditional German butterfox cake, which added a homemade touch and showed how thoughtful gestures make special occasions even more memorable. Baking this cake was a rewarding experience, reminding me that food can be a powerful expression of love and heritage.
