I had to do a special shoutout to my absolute top 3 favorite ARCs this year, I couldn’t put them down!
I have to say I wasn’t displeased with any of the ARCs I’ve gotten and I’m beyond honored that the authors who chose me as an ARC reader did so, but these 3 in particular just… *chef’s kiss* top tier reads, and honestly, are all 3 in my top 5 overall for the year.
Brightless by @teshellecombs was my first ever ARC and the story gripped me and held me tight in such a way that I’ll never, ever forget it. It inspired me to begin my bookish posting journey and jump started my love for posting bookish content. It also jump started my love of ARC reading and for that it holds a special place as well. I wouldn’t have found the others or cared to create content without it. And that’s not even touching on the captivating story! Struggle has my heart and I absolutely adored reading his journey!
Beautiful Prey by @loradarcauthor followed shortly after during October and I am SO SO SO happy I got to read this one! AND I get to ARC for Haunted Prey that is coming out NEXT MONTH!!! I just can’t wait to dive back into the world of Emery and Eve! Eeekkk!!!
And Stargazers Savation by @a.r.schilling is just. ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. With it we get a very captivating take on a war college in an almost sci-fi vibe with found family and betrayal, the whole 9! Definitely worth the read!
