"The House by the Water...The perfect self-sufficient trajectory. "

In a rapidly rotating world, the need to have a simple, calm and relaxed private space became what many people pursued. This "waterfront home" was born out of the idea to create a residence that combined the charm of the traditional Thai way of life with the durability and sustainable use of modern times.

From cottage to residential home:

The beginning of this house was the development of a traditional bamboo hut. It retains the identity of bamboo as an easy-to-find, flexible and environmentally friendly natural material. We have strengthened the structure by fortifying strong foundations and modifying the roof from the often supervised grass to a durable green metalsheet roof, good protection from the sun and harmony with the surrounding nature. Wooden doors and windows have been added for safety, privacy and good ventilation channels, allowing the house to live comfortably in all seasons.

Detail-conscious simplicity:

The design emphasizes simplicity but full of functionality. The small balcony in front invites you to sit in the cold air, watch the fish swim in the pond, or extend a bamboo fishing rod to relieve fatigue. The stone staircase leading down to the pond is not only beautiful, but connects the rest area to nature.

Nature is part of life:

Surrounding the house is surrounded by landscapes rebuilt into a beautiful garden by the water. There is a gracefully swimling carf pond. Lilies springing over the water, creating refreshment. The pond bulkhead with stones and big little trees adds dimension and spontaneity. Not forgetting to keep the big perennial trees behind the house, so that the shade and feel are always shady. The side brick walls are tinged with colorful flowering plants, making the house look even more vibrant.

This waterfront home is therefore not just a place to live, but an embrace of a simple, intimate, natural, and happy daily lifestyle.

ถ้าใครกำลังหา “กระท่อมริมน้ำสวยๆ” แบบที่ไม่ได้สวยแค่ถ่ายรูป แต่ใช้งานได้จริงในชีวิตประจำวัน เราว่าหัวใจมันอยู่ที่การบาลานซ์ 3 อย่าง: โครงสร้างที่ทน, อยู่สบาย, และดูแลง่าย โดยเฉพาะบ้านริมน้ำที่มีความชื้น ลม และฝนแรงกว่าปกติ 1) วางตำแหน่งกระท่อมให้ได้ลมและปลอดน้ำ เราเลือกยกพื้นให้สูงกว่าระดับน้ำ/บ่อ และเว้นระยะจากขอบบ่อพอสมควร เพื่อกันดินทรุดและลดความชื้นขึ้นพื้นบ้าน ถ้าทำได้ แนะนำให้หันทิศระเบียงไปทางที่ลมพัดผ่านบ่อยๆ จะนั่งเล่นเย็นสบายมาก โดยเฉพาะช่วงเย็นที่อยากออกมานั่งดูน้ำหรือตกปลา 2) โครงสร้าง “ไม้ไผ่” ให้สวยและอยู่ได้นาน ไม้ไผ่ให้ฟีลกระท่อมไทยๆ จริง แต่ต้องกันปลวกและความชื้น เราแนะนำให้เลือกไม้ไผ่ที่ผ่านการอบ/อัดน้ำยากันมอด และทำจุดสัมผัสดินให้น้อยที่สุด เช่น วางบนคาน/ฐานรากที่แข็งแรง จะช่วยยืดอายุได้เยอะมาก ส่วนผนังหรือระแนงไม้ไผ่ทำเป็นช่องๆ จะช่วยระบายอากาศ ลดกลิ่นอับ 3) หลังคาเมทัลชีทสีเขียว: ทน แต่ต้องกันร้อน หลังคาเมทัลชีทสีเขียวเข้ากับสวนและต้นไม้ใหญ่ ดูกลมกลืนดี แต่อาจร้อนช่วงกลางวัน เคล็ดลับคือรองฉนวนกันความร้อน และทำชายคายื่นหน่อยเพื่อกันฝนสาด พอฝนตกก็เสียงดังน้อยลงด้วย 4) ระเบียงหน้าบ้าน = พื้นที่ที่คุ้มที่สุด ถ้าต้องเลือกทำแค่ “มุมเดียว” เราเลือกทำระเบียงหน้ากระท่อมเลย เพราะเป็นจุดรับลม นั่งจิบกาแฟ ดูบัวในบ่อ หรือหยิบคันเบ็ดตกปลาก็ได้ ยิ่งถ้ามีบันไดหินลงไปใกล้น้ำ จะเชื่อมบ้านกับธรรมชาติแบบลงตัวมาก 5) จัดสวนและบ่อปลาให้ดูแลง่าย บ่อปลาคาร์ฟสวย แต่ต้องวางระบบกรองดีๆ และทำขอบบ่อด้วยหิน/ต้นไม้ให้เป็นธรรมชาติ เลือกไม้ดอกเป็นจุดๆ ตามกำแพงอิฐหรือข้างทางเดิน จะได้สีสันโดยไม่ต้องดูแลหนัก ที่สำคัญควรเก็บ “ต้นไม้ใหญ่” ไว้ให้ร่มเงาด้านหลังบ้าน จะช่วยลดความร้อนและทำให้บรรยากาศร่มรื่นตลอดวัน สรุปคือ กระท่อมริมน้ำให้สวยแบบอยู่ได้จริง ไม่ต้องหรู แค่คิดเรื่องโครงสร้าง กันร้อนกันชื้น และทำระเบียงให้น่านั่ง ต่อให้เป็นหลังเล็กๆ ก็กลายเป็นมุมพักใจที่ใช้ได้ทุกวัน
