Shopping Plus in alo 📍
Whoever told me to start liking alo… I’m over you 😒
Tell me why I got to the register and my total was $640 for 2 athleisure sets. TWO.
I’m one of those “don’t stress the tag” type of girls or you don’t need to be in that store… but the tag stressed me today.
Now don’t get me wrong I love how alo fits me. The quality? Chef’s kiss. The material? Feels like luxury. The way it hugs the curves? 10/10.
But $640? For yoga pants and a matching top?
Somebody come get me.
What would y’all have kept? Be honest 👀 Did I keep both or just 1? If so which 1 lol

Shopping for athleisure wear can be a fun yet challenging experience, especially when it comes to balancing quality, fit, and price. Having recently gone through a similar shopping experience at Alo Yoga, I can totally relate to the feeling of sticker shock at the register. Spending $640 for just two sets might seem extravagant, but there are several reasons many people consider Alo worth the investment. First, Alo Yoga is known for its luxurious materials and attention to detail. The fabric often feels buttery soft and breathable—qualities that are perfect for workouts or casual wear. The garments are designed to contour and flatter curves, which can be difficult to find in plus-size athleisure clothing. For many, this fit and comfort are worth stretching the budget a little. That said, the price tag can definitely cause second thoughts. When investing in high-end athleisure pieces, it helps to prioritize which attributes matter most to you—whether it’s durability, fit, or style. Personally, I recommend keeping the piece that not only fits well but also evokes confidence every time you wear it. Sometimes one great set can serve your needs better than multiple pieces. Another tip is to look out for sales or shop online where promos and discounts might help lower the cost. Additionally, reading community reviews and sharing feedback—as seen in hashtags like #PlusSizeStyle and #CurvyConfidence—can offer valuable perspectives on whether the price matches the expected value. In the end, choosing Alo Yoga athleisure is a personal choice, balancing luxury and lifestyle needs. If the material, fit, and style resonate with you and boost your confidence, it might justify the cost, even if it initially feels like a splurge.
