Good morning, Q Baes! 🩷🩺

If nursing school has you questioning yourself this morning, let me remind you:

You belong here.

You don’t have to have everything figured out. You don’t have to be the smartest person in the room. You don’t even have to feel confident today.

Just SHOW UP.

Study what you can.

Ask the questions.

Practice the skill.

Take the exam.

Learn from the mistakes.

And keep moving.

Because every day you show up is another day closer to RN. 🎓🩺

Prayer. Faith. Consistency. Dedication.

Now go handle your business, Q Bae. 💅🏾💕

Somebody’s future patient is waiting on you.

The journey to becoming a Registered Nurse is filled with long hours studying pharmacology, mastering clinical skills, and passing challenging exams. But a consistent routine—breaking work down into manageable parts like focusing on one lecture or one chapter each day—makes the process more achievable. Incorporating prayer and self-reflection helped me maintain resiliency when stress felt overwhelming. I found that repeating affirmations such as "I can do this" or relying on inspirational passages like Philippians 4:13 gave me strength and kept me grounded. This spiritual focus worked hand in hand with practical discipline: attending every class, actively participating, reviewing fundamentals, and practicing skills regularly. Another key to staying motivated was accepting that perfection isn’t required. Nursing school taught me that it’s okay to not have everything figured out immediately. Showing up, asking questions, and learning from mistakes were crucial steps toward improvement. It’s also important to remember that each effort contributes to a bigger purpose—someone’s future patient is depending on your knowledge and care. I also benefited from community support, such as engaging with fellow nursing students through forums like #NurseQBae and #NursesDontGiveUp. Sharing experiences and encouragement helped me feel less alone and more empowered. Ultimately, nursing school is as much a test of patience and faith as it is of intellect and skills. Consistency, prayer, and perseverance create the foundation to transform challenges into growth, getting you one step closer to the rewarding goal of becoming a compassionate and competent RN.
