Graphic Design advice needed!!!

... Read moreGetting started in graphic design, especially in packaging design and brand building, can feel daunting. To navigate this journey successfully, consider joining online forums and communities that focus on graphic design. Platforms like Behance and Dribbble not only showcase professional work but also provide inspiration and networking opportunities. Many aspiring designers find success by participating in critique sessions where they can receive constructive feedback on their work. Online learning platforms like Skillshare and Coursera offer a plethora of courses specifically tailored for Illustrator and design principles. These resources often include community projects where you can practice what you've learned. Another crucial aspect is mastering the use of mockups; understanding how to present your design in a realistic context helps potential clients visualize your vision. Practical experience is also key. Work on personal projects that excite you, seek internships, or volunteer for local businesses needing design work. Engaging with mentors who can guide you through the design process and provide real-world experience is invaluable. Lastly, staying updated with industry trends through blogs, design podcasts, and social media will keep your skills fresh and relevant. Remember, every designer has faced hurdles—what matters is your willingness to learn and adapt!

i learned because my high school had classes which i am realizing i was so lucky to have because not many high schools have that kind of curriculum! each program is different and sometimes it can be difficult to navigate so don’t be afraid to ask for help or google videos on how to use a certain program
