Exit that Lazy Girl Era !

Hey everyone! So, I've been on this journey, really trying to 'upgrade my life' and move past what I call my 'lazy girl era.' It's not always easy, but I've learned that it's all about small, consistent steps. I wanted to share a bit more about how I'm tackling some of the common hurdles and what's truly helping me. One of the biggest game-changers for me has been removing distractions. Seriously, our phones can be such black holes! I started by setting specific "no phone" times, especially in the mornings and an hour before bed. Instead, I pick up a book or just sit with my thoughts. It also means unfollowing accounts that make me feel less-than or drain my energy. It’s amazing how much more mental space you gain when you curate your digital environment. I also found that having a dedicated workspace, even if it's just a corner of my room, helps signal to my brain that it's time to focus, not scroll. Then there's the power of creating routines. For the longest time, my days felt chaotic. Now, I'm trying to build solid morning and evening routines. My mornings involve a bit of quiet time, maybe some light stretching, and planning my top three priorities for the day before anything else can pull me away. In the evenings, it's about winding down, tidying up my space, and preparing for the next day. These small rituals don't just add structure; they give me a sense of accomplishment and calm. I'm focusing on being active daily, even if it's just a walk. Another thing I'm actively working on is prioritizing health and being active. It sounds obvious, but it's often the first thing to slip. For me, it's not about intense workouts every day, but about consistent movement. I've found that just committing to a 30-minute walk during lunch or doing a short home workout truly boosts my energy and mood. I'm also trying to be more mindful about what I eat, focusing on nourishing foods rather than quick fixes. It’s all about sustainable habits, not drastic changes. Finally, it's crucial to remember patience for personal growth. This isn't an overnight transformation; it's a continuous journey. There will be days when I slip up, when the old 'lazy girl' habits try to creep back in. But instead of beating myself up, I acknowledge it, learn from it, and get back on track the next day. It’s about being kind to myself, betting on oneself, and trusting that consistent effort will lead to big results over time. Understanding my role in this journey means taking responsibility for my choices, and always striving for continuous learning. This whole process is about upgrading my life one step at a time, celebrating the small wins, and enjoying the process of becoming a better me!

Welcome! So excited to see more from you in the future💛
