Mini Vlog: New Orleans Book Festival ‘26 at Tulane University 📚
My mother and I spent our Saturday at the New Orleans Book Fest. We saw some amazing authors, musicians, and books. There was also free crawfish.
Such a fun bookish event everrrr!!! Hoping to be back next year 🥹
Attending the New Orleans Book Festival at Tulane University was truly a unique experience that I would recommend to any book enthusiast. The festival not only brought together authors from diverse backgrounds but also created a vibrant atmosphere with live music performances that enriched the day. Walking around, I discovered countless new books and had the chance to chat with some of the authors who were incredibly approachable and passionate about their work. What made the event stand out was the Southern hospitality and cultural vibe, highlighted by the free crawfish being served—a perfect treat that complemented the spirit of the festival. It was a wonderful way to engage all senses, blending literature with music and local cuisine. For those considering attending next year, I suggest arriving early to catch the keynote speeches and author signings, as these sessions tend to fill up quickly. The event was also very family-friendly, with activities that would keep younger visitors entertained while adults explored the book booths. Overall, this festival is an excellent chance to support local talent, meet fellow book lovers, and immerse yourself in the rich cultural tapestry of New Orleans. Mark your calendars for next year’s festival at Tulane—it’s an experience you won’t want to miss!
