My Trip To Montreal, QC Part 1🧳🛫🇨🇦
I took a nice weekend trip to Montreal and this is how I spent some of my time I hope you enjoy!!✨
Started off with this restaurant called Eggspectation the food was so bomb and the price was good I got a lot of food for a decent price!! I ate some breakfast Tacos and they came with these Potatoes that look like chips lol they were so crispy and crunchy Ive never had them this way before. I also had a side of French toast and a raspberry rizz drink ( a raspberry smoothie). My friend also had these delicious s’mores French toast in the background. This place was 10/10 it’s the perfect brunch spot Eggspectation - Vieux Montreal
I tried Poutine for the first time and honestly it was ok I think it would have been better if I didn’t door dash it because by the time it got to me is was too soggy I was expecting for my fries to still be crispy 😭 😭😭😭 I’m going to definitely try it again next time I go💯
When to to an authentic Mexican restaurant and when I tell youuu that was the best Mexican food I EVER had!!! Like I’m so mad I don’t have this where I live!!! Please go to Arriba Burrito you will not be disappointed I had the chicken fajitas and when I tell you not a crumb was left on my plate😂😂😂 even my tortillas on the side were gone 😂😂😂😂 it was so flavorful I would take a trip back up there just to eat I really would 😂😂😂😂. I also had a passion fruit mojito and it was very strong but delicious another 10/10 for a place to eat and at first I was iffy because I kept thinking it’s Mexican restaurants at home NOPE not like this one 😂😂😂 Arriba Burrito (St.Dénis)Quartier Latin & Arriba Brunch
I hope you guys liked my post stay tuned for part 2!!
Okay, so if you're like me and always looking for the best brunch spots, Eggspectation in Montreal is seriously a game-changer! After my amazing first experience, I've done a little more digging and want to share some extra tips to make your visit even better. When you look at their menu (which I got a peek at, and the OCR even shows sections like 'Great Eggspectations' and 'Benedict & Beyond'!), you'll see it's huge, so it can be a bit overwhelming in the best way. But that just means there's something for everyone, whether you're craving sweet or savory. Beyond the breakfast tacos and crispy potatoes I raved about, they have some incredible Benedicts – think classic eggs Benny, California, or even one with smoked salmon. These are usually served with their signature potatoes or fruit. If you're a sweet tooth, their French toast and pancakes are legendary. My friend's S'mores French Toast looked divine, and they often have seasonal specials that are worth asking about. Don't forget their "Great Eggspectations" section for hearty breakfast plates that will keep you full all day, often featuring various egg preparations, bacon, sausages, and more. A little tip I picked up: if you're going on a weekend, try to get there a bit early or expect a wait, especially for their prime brunch hours. It's super popular, and for good reason! The vibe is lively and perfect for a casual meal with friends or family. The staff are usually super friendly and efficient, even when it’s busy, which really adds to the whole experience. Also, their 'Rizz' drinks (like the raspberry one I had!) are a must-try – they’re basically delicious, refreshing smoothies that perfectly complement the meal, especially if you're opting for something rich and savory. I've heard great things about their lunch options too, especially if you're not in the mood for breakfast fare. They have a variety of salads, gourmet sandwiches, and even some main courses that look tempting, so it’s not just a breakfast-only spot. But honestly, for me, it's all about that breakfast and brunch goodness. The prices, as mentioned in the original post, are really reasonable for the quality and portion sizes you get. You definitely get a lot of food for a decent price, which is a huge plus in a city like Montreal. The location in Vieux Montreal is fantastic. It's right in the heart of things, making it a perfect launching pad for exploring the historic streets, charming shops, and beautiful architecture after a filling meal. Imagine starting your day with a delicious brunch and then strolling through cobblestone streets – pure bliss! So, next time you're searching for "Eggspectation menu Montreal" or just a fantastic breakfast spot that offers a wide range of choices and a great atmosphere, keep these tips in mind. You won't be disappointed – it truly lives up to its name and is a highlight of any Montreal food adventure!
