Tips for Nail Growth!🤍
Since I’ve been on my DIY nails from home journey for about 2 years now, I was able to grow my nails really well and strong with Builder Gel!
Here are some tips I’ve learned:
⭐️I always used to pick at my nails, so when I would have builder gel on (since it is thicker), it helped me not to pick at them!
⭐️A clean diet helps a lot as well as drinking plenty of water!
⭐️Try and moisturize your nail beds with cuticle oil to keep them hydrated! I also keep a cuticle oil pen in my purse- it’s from MAKARTT off of Amazon!
These are some really helpful tips I wish I knew earlier, I will say that the builder gel played the biggest part on my nail growth journey!
It seriously is the best ever💌
Let me know what you think of these tips and feel free to comment below some more if you have any!🤍 #lemon8partner #nails #nailtips #nailtipsandtricks #nailgrowth #nailgrowthjourney #nailideas #tips #nails2024 #goodtoknow
Okay, so you've heard about my journey with builder gel and how it transformed my nails, but there's another secret weapon I discovered that really took my nail growth to the next level: lemon juice! I stumbled upon this tip almost by accident, looking for natural ways to strengthen my nails and keep them looking bright and healthy. And honestly, it's been a game-changer, especially after dealing with years of weak, brittle nails. You see, I learned that 'Lemon juice helps also! (Vitamin C),' and that's precisely where the magic lies. Lemon juice is packed with Vitamin C, which is a powerful antioxidant. This isn't just good for your immune system; it's fantastic for your nails too! Vitamin C can help promote collagen production, which is essential for strong, healthy nail growth. Plus, its natural acidity can help brighten discolored nails, making them look cleaner and more vibrant – a huge bonus, right? My favorite way to incorporate lemon juice into my routine is with a simple soak. I usually mix the juice of half a fresh lemon with a tablespoon of olive oil (for extra moisture, because lemon can be a bit drying!) and a bit of warm water. I soak my fingertips in this concoction for about 5-10 minutes a few times a week. It feels so refreshing, and I've noticed a significant difference in how strong and less prone to breakage my nails have become. It's like a mini spa treatment for your hands! Another quick tip I picked up is to simply rub a slice of lemon directly onto my nails and cuticles for a minute or two, then rinse thoroughly. This is great for a quick brightening boost. However, a crucial step I learned is to always, always moisturize your nail beds frequently after using lemon juice. Like the reminder I saw, 'moisturize nail beds frequently' and 'Keep a cuticle oil pen in your purse!' is key! Lemon juice, while beneficial, can be drying if not followed up with hydration. So, I always have my cuticle oil pen handy, especially after any lemon juice treatment. This prevents dryness and keeps my cuticles healthy, which is vital for new nail growth. I also make sure to combine this with other healthy habits. Like I mentioned before, 'Do not pick at your nails!' – that's a golden rule! And remember to 'Drink plenty of water' to keep your nails hydrated from the inside out. Using lemon juice isn't a magic bullet on its own; it's part of a holistic approach to nail care that includes good diet, hydration, protecting your nails (hello, builder gel!), and consistent moisturizing. In my experience, adding lemon juice to my routine significantly accelerated my nail recovery and growth, giving them a beautiful, natural shine that compliments my builder gel manicures perfectly. Give it a try and let me know your thoughts!
