Vision board: Birthday edition

Let’s chat

Every year I end up a sad girl on my birthday. Or just going out to eat. ( which is ok but isn’t ideal for me)

I prioritize everyone’s birthday but mine.

I absolutely go all out for my daughter every year too.

(Pretty sure it’s a trauma thing for me)

This year I’m being intentional.

I’ve been screenshotting away.

I have an album titled my birthday mood board/vision board.

I do make sure I have a cake every year.

Last years cake was BEAUTIFUL.

This year I saw this on my explore on insta and instantly fell in love.

I’m in jersey so praying I can find someone to recreate this. I LOVE IT!!❤️❤️🪐🌹🎀✨

UPDATE: order has been placed. 🥂 2 months in advanced lol

To create the ultimate birthday mood board, start by collecting images that resonate with you—such as party themes, cake designs, and decorations. You can use platforms like Pinterest or Instagram for inspiration. Once you've gathered your favorites, lay them out in a way that feels cohesive and reflective of your desires. For your cake, consider searching for local bakers who specialize in unique designs. As seen in this story, a cake can become the centerpiece of your celebration. When ordering, make sure to discuss your vision, sharing visuals from your board to ensure the outcome matches your expectations. The excitement builds as you approach your birthday—plan activities that make you feel special, like a favorite meal or a spa day. Remember, prioritizing your birthday is important. Self-care plays a role in mental wellbeing, making it essential to step out of the caregiver role for a moment and focus on what brings you joy. By being intentional and creating a vision board, you’re setting the stage for a memorable celebration filled with the things you love!

I feel the same way you do. I go all out for everyone’s birthday, and I get paid no attention. I’m turning 50 this year and want to do a little dinner party, then go on a 4 day trip.
