Monthly Expenses while in Bankruptcy

My real monthly expenses + My Early payoff strategy 💪

For Chapter 13 Bankruptcy you’ll only pay off a portion of your debt owed and my total pay off to the trustee will be $24,000. I want to pay my debt off faster than 60 months so by me adding an extra $100 a month I’ll pay it off in 48 months instead. In the budget breakdown you’ll see my original payment of $400 but as of now I’m adding the extra payment. #debtfreejourney #debtsucks #freedom

Disclaimer I’m 23 so I don’t own anything prior to filing my bills mainly contained debt 🥴

With a total income of $2,700 and monthly expenses of $990.49, my strategy focuses on being proactive about debt management. It’s possible to pay off Chapter 13 bankruptcy ahead of the typical 60 months by increasing monthly payments. My goal is to become debt-free in 48 months, requiring an additional $100 monthly payment. This adjustment not only lessens the burden quicker but also enables strategic budgeting. By replacing old habits with careful spreadsheets or printables to track my income—T-Mobile and internet bills, as well as savings—financial control becomes attainable. I firmly believe that with diligence and disciplined budgeting, anyone can conquer their debt, ensuring that every dollar counts on this debt-free journey.
