One unexpected skill that helped me land my current marketing role?

Being comfortable on camera.

As part of my interview process, I was asked to style and film a reel of myself wearing pieces from the brand. Not only did I have to show that I understood the product, but I also needed to edit the video and make it feel native to the brand's feed—a challenge I was genuinely excited about.

That reel ended up helping me get the job.

💡 Now that I work in-house, being able to step in as on-camera talent has helped solve problems fast. If content is running low, we don't always need to scramble for influencers or a full shoot. I can grab a camera, style a few outfits, and get fresh content out the door that same day.
