📍Chicago Autism Event 4/26

Parents raising special needs children deserve all of their flowers 🌸🌺🌹 We rarely get any breaks, rarely have any time to self care or do the things that we love because our time is dedicated to caring for our children! We want to acknowledge all the parents putting IN THAT WORK! 🙌🏽🙌🏽

If you live in Chicago, Join us for ‘Brunch in Blue’—an event for parents of autistic children to step away, connect, and just be. Enjoy great food, music, and a space where you don’t have to explain your life—because everyone gets it 🤗

Come out, unwind, and pour back into YOU.

A break you actually deserve. 💙

... Read moreAs a parent of a child with autism, I can truly say that events like 'Brunch in Blue' offer a much-needed respite from the daily challenges we face. The event's location at 210 E 35th St, 2nd Floor, Chicago, provides a welcoming environment where parents can connect without the pressure of explaining their experiences — something that makes such gatherings uniquely rejuvenating. Wearing blue not only shows solidarity but creates a sense of unity among attendees. Personally, attending this event made me feel seen and appreciated, and the chance to share stories and laughs with others who understand our journey is invaluable. The thoughtful inclusion of great food and music adds to the soothing atmosphere, making it easier to unwind and focus on self-care. I encourage any parent of an autistic child in Chicago to take this opportunity to pour back into themselves during 'Brunch in Blue' — these moments of connection and relaxation are vital for our well-being and help us continue supporting our children with renewed energy.
