Autistic in public
I live for dark humor 😭
Because yes, he acts completely different in public than he does at home now.
He almost knocked the damn phone out of my hand😭 “I’ll knock all this shi over” 🤣 trying to get to my face.
Then walk outside and had the nerve TO BE COOL! Is you cool oj🤨🤣 why the switch up!? Tried to embarrass me for sure!
As of now, I’d never record those moments to post though.
But I just want y'all to know, behind closed doors, OJ be getting aggressive
Navigating life with an autistic loved one often means witnessing a surprising contrast between their public and private behaviors. From my personal experience, many autistic individuals adopt what can be described as a 'public persona' — appearing calm, composed, or even 'cool' outside, while their true feelings or challenges surface more intensely at home. This can be both confusing and exhausting for family members, especially parents. In public settings, autistic individuals might consciously or unconsciously suppress certain behaviors to fit social expectations. However, this effort often leads to pent-up frustration that might be expressed once the safety of home is reached. It’s important to recognize that behaviors seen in private, such as moments of aggression or agitation, are part of their coping mechanisms and not deliberate acts against family members. Using humor, even dark humor, as shared in the original story, can provide relief and a way for families to cope with the emotional rollercoaster. Yet, it’s also essential to seek support and strategies specifically tailored to autism management — like professional guidance, sensory-friendly environments, and clear communication techniques. From my reflections, it helps to celebrate the moments of connection and understanding, while also acknowledging the challenges that don't always show up in public. It’s a continuous journey requiring patience, empathy, and sometimes embracing the unpredictable nature of autism. For anyone managing a similar situation, know that you’re not alone, and sharing these experiences openly helps build awareness, reduce stigma, and foster community support.

He's like really girl, quit playing with my time. The smelling it and giving back to you is my niece all day. 😂
