what should i do? any suggestions?

I'm in a relationship and it hasn't gone on too long but I really fell for this man.

just recently he's been hanging up the phone at 12-1 am and making up excuses about it and making me feel like I'm being irrational for feeling the way I do. he is the sweetest when we are together in person but I notice he smiles a lot less around me and is becoming more dry and increasingly slow by the day at responding. I know he may be busy and he's got things to do but is it too much to ask for a simple text? I truly don't know what to do, can I get suggestions? 😭

If you're feeling anxious about your partner's recent behavior, such as delayed responses or lack of affection, it's important to address these feelings rather than brush them aside. Start by reflecting on the relationship dynamics; sometimes, external stressors can affect how one expresses emotions. It may be beneficial to initiate an open conversation with your partner, sharing your feelings without accusations, which can promote a healthy dialogue. Consider exploring strategies to rebuild emotional intimacy and communication. Engaging in activities together, maintaining regular check-ins, or couples' activities can help strengthen your bond. It's not just about asking for a simple text; it's about fostering a supportive environment where both partners feel heard and valued. If feelings of anxiety persist, seeking advice from friends, or even a therapist, can provide you with new perspectives and coping strategies. Remember, effective communication is key in any relationship, and seeking suggestions shows initiative toward a healthier partnership.
