This was the highland dancing competition, where they have groups of dancers come up and dance a very similar choreography to what seemed like the same exact music.
I also learned that each Scottish clan (the equivalent of us having different last names) has their own unique patterns represented by their kilts and capes. Kind of like how each Hogwarts house has their own colors.
