cutting the chord is the first step & i’m so proud of you for finally taking that step. in this post, i’ll teach you how to UNBIND from whomever, especially if you’ve done a binding love spell with them— or just feel really attached and need an extra boost.

‼️ ONLY perform this Unbinding Ritual if you are ready to cut your ties with this person and move on. once you have unbound yourself to someone there is no going back. there is NO spell to rebind. so make sure that you are TRULY ready to move on before you follow through with this one besties!!!

cleanse yourself. cleanse your space. put on 396hz frequencies. take deep breaths and center yourself. visualize what happiness means to you. visualize your future self— the version of you that is moved on, that is booked & busy, that is full of self love.

you will need—

1 white candle for yourself

1 black candle for them

1 string or twine

2 pieces of paper

1 dish w/salt to put the candles on

Any corresponding herbs (optional)

now write your heart out ✒️

on ONE of the papers write affirmations for letting go, healing, and self love— place this under the white candle.

on the OTHER piece of paper write about the heart ache, all the pain and suffering, everything that you feel is holding you back— place this under the black candle.

VERY LIGHTLY carve your name into the white candle and theirs into the black candle. then tie the string around them. focus your energy on severing the tie/bond between you two as you take a deep breath and light the candles (look at the third picture for reference).

now **CAREFULLY watch as the candles burn down. interpret the flames if you’d like. watch as the string/twine that once was tied burns and breaks. feel the weight fall off your shoulders, feel the self love radiating from the flames, feel that divine releasing.

**THIS IS A CANDLE RITUAL THAT REQUIRES YOUR FULL ATTENTION FOR FIRE SAFETY 🔥

💝TIP: my greatest advice i can offer any Witch is to only perform love magick and especially any binding spells on someone who—

1) has given you their CONSENT to perform love magick on them—this is the number one thing that bites any Witch, beginner or not, in the 🍑 with karma.

2) are already in a relationship with them— you might have a generally better idea of where you stand if you’re already committed to each other & love magick can strengthen your bond even more!!!

3) you know where you stand with them romantically— same idea as number two.

4) you are ready to be bound to them & face any of the consequences from doing so!! ❤️‍🩹
