Come during the beginning of summer and you’ll get the opportunity to go to Country in the Park, Cal Expo Sacramento edition. If you’re looking for a somewhat inexpensive festival and an amazing time, Country in the Park is the way to go.
Country in the Park is a lively festival where country music lovers from all around gather to see some of the biggest country artists. This is their third year running, I believe, and they always make it bigger and better than the year before.
The tickets are starting at $80 but it’s always worth the price especially if you get the weekend pass. There will be up to 4 to 5 (really good) artists and for a festival, drinks and food are fairly inexpensive.
Don’t like country music? That’s OK! They have a bars all around the venue whether it’s drinking bars, dancing bars, sports bars, or just sitting and chatting.
Other offers: They include a free mechanical bull ride, multiple vendors selling things that are yet to hit the market for their websites, and many different alcoholic promotions.
All in all if you get the chance to go to this festival, I highly recommend. Especially, ESPECIALLY, if you love country music.

if you don’t like drunk people this place is not for you. If you don’t like country music, this place is not for you. If you can’t get along with country/conservative people alike you will not have a fun time at this festival. If you are not religious (or open to religion), this festival is not for you.
There are lots of drunk conservatives at this festival and many of them love to pray. Personally, as an agnostic, I believe in many different religions to make almost a quilt of my own religion and belief, which is why I have no problem with these people. Not to mention I drink so if you are a sober person, this place is not a place to be unless you can control yourself drinking.
