Anyone wanna get these for me 👀

Are any of these on your wishlist as well? 😂 Struggling with motivation as an artist sucks. Here are some tips to keep your motivation going, or to start up motivated enegry:

Tip 1: There is no "correct" way to clean an art studio. Don't hold yourself to standards that don't fit the lifestyle you want to live. If thowing all mess into a catch-all box to be cleaned up later just to have a clear space makes you happy and feel clean, that is what matters! Creating your definition of what makes you feel happy and clean in your space is what matters.

Tip 2: Don't resist the urge to create because you have "made a work like that before." Go with your inspiration flow. Restricting what you create because you deem the idea of it " not worthy enough" is not a good mindset to be in. Wiggle out of it by allowing yourself the space and time to express your inspirations.

Tip 3: Don't take yourself so seriously! The stress of creating a masterpiece can burn you out. Make some silly fun things and see where it takes you!

I hope these tips can help some of y'all in your creative practices!

... Read moreFor artists, maintaining motivation can often feel like a struggle. Here are some additional insights to help rejuvenate your creativity. First, try setting small, achievable goals instead of aiming for a big masterpiece. This makes it easier to celebrate your progress and stay motivated along the way. Consider implementing a dedicated time each day when you focus solely on art—it can be a daily sketch or experimenting with new techniques. This not only builds a routine but also enhances your skills over time. Additionally, surrounding yourself with an inspiring environment, whether that’s art from others, nature, or simply an organized workspace, can significantly boost creativity. Joining local art communities or online forums where you can share and discuss your work can also provide a fresh perspective and encouragement. Don't forget to revisit the art that inspired you to become an artist in the first place—this can help reignite the passion within you. Lastly, never underestimate the power of breaks. Stepping away can provide clarity and new ideas when you return. Balancing creations between serious projects and fun, experimental pieces can keep your artistic journey exciting. Embrace the process, redefine your standards, and most importantly, enjoy creating art!
