The sketch vs the result 🔥
This is a linocut self-portrait!! The final print was made on a totebag with speedball fabric ink
The process of this work started as a sketch. After that, I layered graphite tracing paper in between my lino block and the sketch. Then, I traced over the sketch, so the graphite from the tracing paper would transfer to the lino block. Once the sketch was transferred, I went over it in Sharpie to ensure it would stay, and then I began carving!

Creating art requires more than just talent; it's about embracing the entire process, from the initial sketch to the finished product. In printmaking, this journey is particularly fascinating.
