ATTN: HORSE OWNERS OPINIONS PLZZZ
I need some opinions about my boarding situation, please. I board about twenty minutes away from my house recently I’ve been having problems with the owner like she wants to get out of boarding and while doing so wants to burn the bridge with me. I don’t know why but I make my payments early, make sure something is okay with her two horses before doing it, etc. Recently I can tell she has been skipping multiple meals for the horses, they haven’t been dewormed since May (she likes to have all of them on the same schedule), she didn’t tell me about my horse limping, not taking care of the rodent problem (she puts down poison where they die immediately but I’m still seeing multiple mice until I brought over electric mouse traps), I can’t really work/ride my horse when she comes out to take care of her main business which is dog boarding in case the dog(s) jump over the fence, and I know there will be more problems to come.
I looked into a place that is really close to home but it’s field board only. I’ll be doing self board. The lady there has the barn where the two stalls are turned into feed and tack storage only and there are two outside stalls with an overhang for coverage of the weather and sun but it’s not much.
Overall I’m not sure on what to do I want him closer to home but I’m tired of dealing with these problems currently.
