I gotta lose 70 pounds and get to 32 inch waist

I have lost 30 pounds in 30 days. I still have about 67 pounds to go to reach my goal of 195 pounds by September 2026, according to a calorie app that I’m using. I was diagnosed with a high blood pressure, type two diabetes, and high cholesterol. I refuse to take the medication, so we’ll fix it with proper nutrition and exercise. I’ve been using a calorie-tracking app to stay on top of my daily intake, which has been a game changer for managing my nutrition. Tracking calories helped me identify and reduce hidden sources of excessive fat and sugar in my diet — key factors for lowering blood pressure and managing diabetes naturally. Besides diet, incorporating regular exercise tailored for seniors is essential. Low-impact activities such as walking, swimming, and light resistance training can build strength and aid weight loss without risking injury. Consistency matters more than intensity, so setting realistic goals and sticking to a routine pays off. Another crucial aspect is mindset. Staying motivated by focusing on health improvements rather than just numbers on the scale helps sustain long-term success. Sharing my progress openly has connected me with others facing similar challenges, providing mutual encouragement which is invaluable. Lastly, managing chronic conditions through lifestyle changes requires patience and ongoing adjustments. Regularly consulting healthcare providers to monitor vital signs ensures safety while embracing a holistic approach. For anyone in their 60s aiming to transform their health, remember that it’s never too late to start making empowering changes—your body and future self will thank you.
