It's not just about jumping in; it’s about having a clear strategy and managing your risk. First off, for anyone new to this, NQ1! futures refers to the E-mini Nasdaq 100 futures contract. It's incredibly popular for day traders because of its volatility and liquidity, offering fantastic opportunities for both long and short positions. I find that focusing on a clear 'long' bias when the market conditions align can lead to some really profitable trades. My primary tool for identifying these opportunities is always the candlestick chart. I spend a lot of time analyzing price action, looking for specific patterns that suggest a strong move upwards. Alongside the candlesticks, I pay close attention to the volume profile. This helps me understand where the significant buying and selling interest is, which can confirm potential support levels for a long entry.
