I Chose Better Over Easy✨
I used to cling to habits that felt safe, even when they were draining me.
Sleeping in to avoid the day. Scrolling instead of healing. Saying “I’m fine” when I wasn’t.
Letting go wasn’t easy .. but neither was staying the same.
Better doesn’t mean perfect. It just means free. 💭💗

Letting go of unproductive habits can be one of the hardest challenges many face. The hardest habits to break include snoozing the alarm, seeking validation from others, procrastination, overthinking, settling for 'good enough', mindless scrolling, people-pleasing, and negative self-talk. 1. Snoozing the Alarm: Breaking this habit builds self-trust. Commit to getting up when you say you will. 2. Seeking Validation: Remember that seeking approval from others won't fill the void; recognize your self-worth first. 3. Procrastination: Time is precious; take action even if it’s daunting. Start now! 4. Overthinking: You can't control everything, so focus on breathing, moving, and adjusting throughout your day. 5. Settling for 'Good Enough': Whether in relationships or work, aim for fulfillment rather than mediocrity. 6. Mindless Scrolling: Redirect your attention to your dreams, as they are within your grasp—choose wisely. 7. People-Pleasing: This exhausting habit does not provide lasting satisfaction; choose peace over pleasing others. 8. Negative Self-Talk: You hear your inner voice more than anyone else; treat yourself with kindness and patience, and be your own biggest supporter.

True that it’s very easy to feel safe and sleep away the day but when you wake up, everything is still there mourning a loss has taught me to be good to myself and patient however, at some point you have to get up and get out and move to feel better your loved one wouldn’t want you to lay around and think about one bad day over a lifetime of wonderful memories😭🥺🥰🥰🥰
