Unhinged Emoji Stickers Pt. 1

How to turn these into iPhone stickers (step-by-step)

(You’ll need an iPhone running iOS 17 or later for the built-in sticker feature.)

1. Download the image from this post

• Press-and-hold the image and choose Save Image (or use the app’s share menu → Save) so it goes into your Photos.

• If you can’t save directly, take a screenshot and use that.

2. Crop to a single sticker

• Open the image in Photos → Edit → use the Crop tool. Zoom in / move the crop box so only one small sticker is visible (the tighter you crop on that single sticker, the easier iPhone will detect it). Tap Done to save the cropped image.

3. Turn the cropped image into a sticker

• Open the cropped image in Photos full screen. Touch & hold the sticker (the “subject”) until it highlights/selects, then tap Add Sticker in the pop-up. That saves the sticker to your sticker drawer.

4. Use your new sticker

• In Messages or anywhere you can bring up the iPhone keyboard: tap the emoji icon → switch to Stickers → find your saved sticker and tap or drag it into a message, note, or Markup. (Stickers are available across apps that support the sticker drawer.) 

Quick troubleshooting & tips

• If your iPhone doesn’t detect the sticker: make the crop closer around the sticker (less background), or use Markup’s selection tool. 

• Make sure your iPhone is updated. The built-in sticker feature arrived with iOS 17; older iOS may not have it. 

• For best quality, crop carefully (don’t over-zoom past the sticker so it becomes pixelated).
