Toddler target haul

For Christmas I am making him some premade sensory bins so the magnifying glass and beaker are going to be for a science themed bin and the balls I’m going to put in with sand so he can roll it around and make patterns

As parents prepare for Christmas, it's essential to find engaging toys that not only entertain but also promote learning. Sensory bins are an excellent way to introduce toddlers to scientific concepts and language development. Incorporating items like magnifying glasses can spark curiosity and help toddlers explore their environment. Beakers can be used to teach basic measurement and encourage tactile play with sand and balls, allowing for various sensory experiences. Using themes in sensory bins, like science, connects play with educational topics. Experts suggest creating bins tailored to children’s interests, such as nature or emotions. Consider adding books, like the Scholastic Rhyming "Pairs," which can enhance emotional recognition through storytelling. These activities not only entertain but also support developmental milestones for toddlers, making them pivotal for effective early learning. Additionally, it’s important to choose safe materials, especially for toddlers with sensitive skin or conditions like eczema. Opting for hypoallergenic products can help parents feel confident in their selections. If you’re shopping early this season, explore deals at Target for various toddler-friendly items to create your sensory bins.
