My favorite shooting grip for VLOGGING!
I have this shooting grip from Sony for about 2 years now and it's definitely a staple piece for me for filming Youtube videos and for vlogging! It's super easy to use but also very compact, which makes it easy to bring it around with you in your bag or purse!
I love how handy this is while vlogging, you can easily zoom in and out while holding the shooting grip and also easily start and stop recording while walking etc. It's also nice that you can use it as a tripod! I have been using that mostly while vlogging within cafes/restaurants or just anywhere where i was sitting at a table!
I definitely recommend this shooting grip from Sony! It's more suitable for smaller camera's since the shooting grip is quite small, so read the description on the website if your camera would be suitable for it!

When I first started seriously vlogging, I struggled with finding a setup that was both portable and practical. Juggling a camera, trying to hit record, and managing shaky footage was a constant challenge. That's when I discovered the Sony GP-VPT2BT, and it truly became my secret weapon for creating content. One of the biggest game-changers for me has been the wireless remote control panel on this shooting grip. Imagine being able to start and stop recording, zoom in and out, and even take photos all from the comfort of your grip, without ever touching your camera's body! This feature, with its dedicated buttons for movie, photo, and zoom, has streamlined my workflow immensely. I can keep my focus entirely on what I'm filming, whether it's a dynamic street scene or a close-up of a new product, without fumbling for controls. The custom function button is also fantastic, letting me assign my most-used camera settings for quick access. Beyond its handheld use, the GP-VPT2BT's versatility as a tripod is invaluable. I often find myself in cafes or restaurants, and being able to quickly set up my black camera on its shooting grip, transforming it into a stable tripod on a wooden surface, means I can capture steady shots for talking-head segments or time-lapses without carrying extra equipment. It's also perfect for getting group shots when traveling or setting up a desk-based interview. The grip's design truly helps in achieving steady shots, which is crucial for professional-looking vlogs. Its compact size is another major selling point. It slips easily into my purse or backpack, making it an ideal travel companion. I've taken it on countless trips, and it never feels like a burden. This portability, combined with its robust functionality, means I'm always ready to capture content whenever inspiration strikes. For those considering this vlogging grip, it’s important to note that it's more suitable for smaller cameras, as mentioned in the article. Always double-check your camera's compatibility on Sony's official website to ensure seamless integration. Pairing it is usually a breeze via Bluetooth, and once connected, it maintains a reliable connection throughout your filming session. I also love how well it integrates with other accessories. For instance, pairing a compact black camera with an attached microphone onto this grip creates a truly professional yet lightweight setup. The grip provides a solid base, ensuring that even with additional gear, your setup remains balanced and easy to handle. In essence, the Sony GP-VPT2BT isn't just a grip; it's an all-in-one vlogging essential that significantly enhances the filming experience. From its intuitive wireless controls to its dual function as a tripod, it's designed to make your vlogging journey smoother and more professional. It’s been a staple in my gear bag for two years, and I can't imagine vlogging without it!
