Hi again everyone! Since you’re here to get to know me a little better, I wanted to share a bit more about what makes my world go 'round and hopefully spark some connections here on Lemon8. As I mentioned, I’m Jade, living life in beautiful Ohio, and I absolutely adore my husky, Luna. She’s truly my whole world, even if she does have her moments of being a total 'lunatic' – in the best way possible, of course! Training a husky is an adventure in itself, and I'm always looking for new tips and tricks for keeping her entertained and happy. If you have any husky parent advice, I'm all ears! One of my biggest passions is exploring new recipes. I love to cook and bake, especially trying out international cuisines or putting a healthy twist on classic comfort foods. There’s nothing more satisfying than spending an afternoon in the kitchen, experimenting with flavors, and then sharing the delicious results with friends and family. I often look for inspiration right here on Lemon8, and I’ve found some amazing culinary creators. If you have a go-to weeknight meal or a show-stopping dessert, please drop your recommendations below! I'm always on the hunt for my next kitchen conquest. Traveling is another big part of who I am. Whether it’s a weekend getaway to explore a new city within Ohio or a bigger adventure to another state or even country, I thrive on new experiences and cultures. I've always dreamed of backpacking through Southeast Asia, and I'm slowly but surely saving up and researching destinations. What are some of your favorite travel memories or must-visit spots? I love hearing about other people's adventures and getting ideas for my own future trips. And of course, there's my love for reading. I'm a huge fan of psychological thrillers and historical fiction, but I'll dip my toes into a good fantasy series or even a self-help book if it catches my eye. There's something so calming about curling up with a good book after a busy day. I’m always looking for my next great read, so if you have any book recommendations, especially those that kept you up all night, let me know! Connecting with people is really important to me. I spend a lot of time with my friends and family, making memories and just enjoying each other’s company. I also love the sense of community that platforms like Lemon8 offer.
