Weekly Discovery Column (Happy Summer Festivals)
Yesterday (August 1, 2026,# sagami _ onoI participated in several summer festival events in the surrounding area, but at three points among them, there was an event that greatly increased the desire to cherish the connection with the community ☺️
① The 35th Torinkan Summer Wow! Nibal @ Around Torinkan Station
On the morning of the event, I received a DM from a follower saying, "My daughter is opening a store, so I would appreciate it if you could take it up as part of the information dissemination." So, I visited with the highest priority and met her ✨
I cannot tell you the details because of personal information, but the daughter played a very important role as a regional contribution of Sagamihara City 👏
In addition, the organization itself contributes greatly to the local community, so we purchased the original tote bag ☺️

② The 39th Misono Nishi Noryo Festival @ Misono Park
I met Yui Kanazawa of the Liberal Democratic Party and had a conversation for the first time 🗣️
Mr. Kanazawa was born in Zama City and raised in Minami Ward, Sagamihara City, and I was born in Minami Ward, Sagamihara City and raised in Zama City (from 1 to 19 years old), so I feel close to him 😊
Mr. Kanazawa also participates in many events around Sagami Ono, and he posts about it on his SNS every time 😸
I met you at today's "Nanshinmachi Noryo Furusato Festival 2026" ☺️
③ The 3rd Onominato @ Ornocross Square
The other day, the official Instagram of "Onominoito" was opened, and the first account I followed was "Sagami Ono DiscoveryWe thanked the founders and got excited about Sagami Ono and local contribution 😆
Also, about the unofficial CM of "Onominaito" posted the other day, "Thank you for making it and the number of views is high ♪ Thank you for making it!!
These events have greatly increased the desire to cherish the connection with the community 🙌

SAGAMI-ONO EVENT Charm of Sagami Ono Weekly Discovery Column
私自身も夏祭りの季節になると、地元のイベントに参加し、地域コミュニティとのつながりを感じる良い機会にしています。今回紹介された3つのイベントは、それぞれ独自の魅力と地域貢献の精神が溢れていました。 まず、東林間サマーわぁ!ニバルでは、出店者の方の思いも強く伝わり、娘さんが地域のために頑張っている姿に胸が熱くなりました。こうした若い世代の参加が地域活性化につながることを実感します。私も地元フェスで見つけたオリジナルトートバッグを愛用していますが、そのバッグを持つだけで地元への愛着が深まるのが不思議です。 次に御園西納涼祭りでは、地元出身の方や政治家の方々と直接話せる機会があり、人と人の交流が地域の未来を支えていることを改めて理解しました。身近な人たちがイベントに積極的に参加し、情報発信をしている様子は、地域全体の活力の源になっています。 最後に「おのみんないと」の新たな公式Instagramアカウントの開設は、地域の情報を広く伝えていく上で大きな一歩です。公式で非公式CMの反応が良いというのも、地域住民の団結と盛り上がりを示していると思います。私もSNSを活用して地元情報を友人と共有することが多く、こうしたデジタル発信とリアルなつながりの両立は今後の地域イベントに非常に重要だと感じます。 これらの夏祭りを通じ、地域との結びつきの大切さ、そして小さな行動が大きな地域貢献につながることを学びました。相模大野周辺はまだまだ知られざる魅力が多く、その魅力発信の一端を担うイベントにこれからも積極的に参加し続けたいと思います。
