One-night stand- left something at his place
Hey so obv this is a throwaway. I was walking home from a party last night and I met this super cute guy just walking along the street. We walked past eachother and both turned to check the other out. We did a couple double takes and the 3rd time we caught each other looking, we stopped and got to talking. It was incredibly sexy.
Anyway, went home with him, did the dirty, left this morning and I realized I left my hat there. We didn't exchange phone numbers, but I know his address. I would really REALLY like that hat back. It was expensive and new, and its cold here. What is the protocol in this situation? I could send a post card or just go by and drop a note. I don't know what to do. Is my hat gone forever? I'm really kicking myself for not getting his phone number, but it wasn't that kind of hookup. And no- i don't usually go home with men i just met walking on the street and I realize it would have ended with me getting chopped up into little pieces.
