How long have you been job searching?

I am tired of LinkedIn, Indeed (and many similar job sites) especially because most jobs on these platforms are falsely advertised, many are fake, and so many are positions largely filled via internal hiring. Is there any other job site I can use?

How long have you been job searching? Getting depressed out here with the lack of job interviews. Not sure what to do, or when it's going to get better.

... Read moreJob searching can often feel overwhelming, especially with the current job market trends where many roles are filled internally or through referrals. If you've been searching for a while, you might be feeling disheartened by traditional job boards. In addition to LinkedIn and Indeed, consider exploring niche job search engines tailored to specific industries, such as Glassdoor for company reviews or FlexJobs for remote opportunities. Networking through professional associations and local job fairs can also uncover hidden opportunities. Additionally, refining your resume for Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) can enhance your chances of getting noticed. Tailoring your application for each position, utilizing keywords from job descriptions, and creating a strong LinkedIn profile can further help you stand out. Don't hesitate to reach out to your network and ask for informational interviews to gain insights and connect with potential employers. Remember, persistence is key in job searching, and utilizing diverse strategies can lead to greater success.

Lately Indeed has been awful, it's just a bunch of spam and scam jobs and it seems impossible to find something
