Is Toyota & Honda really THAT good?
I've been on a hunt for a vehicle, specifically a hatchback, with around 25~30k range budget. With that being said I didn't want to buy a brand new vehicle. Rather tried to find something that's maybe max 3 years old with maybe something like less than 30 ~ 40k km milage with my set budget.
Literally every Toyota & Honda vehicles that I've test driven were more expensive with older year and higher milage, and the answer had been always the same.
I understand that Honda and Toyota have been very reputable and reliable, but is it really that much superior to make this much gap in price and usage difference justified?

All I can say is to avoid a Kia!! I got a 2022 Kia Forte GT last year for about 28k and it’s given me nothing but problems! Currently my cars steering wheel buttons don’t work like cruise control , the brakes will lock up for no reason, and the ac makes odd noises. They’re cheap for a reason 😫
