Is this the best movie promo ever?

I was in Times Square earlier and saw the Now You See Me 3 trailer premiere on those huge screens. They had this promo where if you texted a number during the countdown, you’d get cash and I just checked my account and got $119.16! Saw tons of people sharing screenshots of their deposits too, no joke, it actually worked.

I honestly thought it was a scam at first (who gives free money for watching a trailer?), but the security verification was quick, and the cash hit within minutes. Way more memorable than just a social media ad, it makes me way more excited for the movie now. Do y’all think this is a smart marketing stunt or too pricey for brands to keep doing?

... Read moreThe Now You See Me 3 promotional event has taken social advertising to a new level, blending entertainment with instant rewards. Many attendees were skeptical at first, questioning the legitimacy of receiving cash simply for watching a trailer. However, with quick security verification and prompt deposits, this campaign not only captured attention but also engaged audiences in an interactive and memorable way. This kind of innovative marketing strategy stimulates conversations around its effectiveness and potential for future promotions. Brands increasingly explore unique methods to captivate consumers, challenging traditional advertising formats. The excitement generated by offering cash as a reward has set a new benchmark in the film industry. As marketers strive to create more personalized and memorable experiences, initiatives like this may reshape how audiences connect with movie promotions. It raises an important question: Can such campaigns lead to a sustainable long-term strategy for studios, or are they just one-off stunts? As viewers continue to crave meaningful interactions with their favorite films, the industry will need to balance creativity and cost-effectiveness to drive similar initiatives without overspending.

That movie promo is wild! Free cash hooks people hard. Brands should do more interactive stunts like this.
