the prettiest smoothie you’ll ever make!!🌴🩵
This smoothie is unreal… like straight off an Erewhon menu, but you made it at home! I don't know what I like most about the smoothie, how pretty it is or how amazing it tastes! It’s super creamy, and the pineapple and coconut flavors actually come through in the best way🤭 I already know I’m making this one on repeat!
Ingredients:
• 1/2 cup almond milk
• 1/2 cup coconut water
• 1/4 cup Greek yogurt (save for the glass)
• 1 scoop vanilla protein powder
• 1 tsp blue spirulina
• 1 banana
• 1 cup frozen pineapple
• 1 tbsp coconut cream
• 1 tsp chia seeds
• 1–2 tsp honey
Directions:
Blend everything together except the Greek yogurt
Use the yogurt to rim the inside of your glass with just little dollops to get that cloud look ☁️
Add about 1/2 tsp blue spirulina to the bottom of the glass, then pour your smoothie in!
Pro tip: Use coconut-flavored Greek yogurt if you want to lean even more tropical!

I recently tried this tropical coconut cream smoothie recipe and it quickly became a favorite in my household. The combination of almond milk and coconut water gives it a light yet creamy base, while the frozen pineapple and banana add natural sweetness and a thick texture. One key highlight is the addition of blue spirulina, which not only gives the smoothie its eye-catching turquoise color but also packs a nutritious punch loaded with antioxidants. Using Greek yogurt as a rim decoration is such a clever touch! It creates a delicate cloud-like effect that enhances the presentation as well as adding a tangy creaminess that contrasts beautifully with the sweet tropical fruits. For an even more tropical vibe, swapping in coconut-flavored Greek yogurt is a fantastic idea that deepens the coconut flavor profile. I also appreciate the balance of protein with the vanilla protein powder and chia seeds, making this smoothie a great option for a post-workout refreshment or a satisfying breakfast. The honey provides just the right amount of additional sweetness without overpowering the fresh fruit. When making this at home, I recommend using organic frozen pineapple chunks for the best flavor and nutrition. The process is simple and quick: blend all the ingredients except the yogurt, rim your glass with dollops of Greek yogurt, sprinkle some blue spirulina at the bottom, then pour your smoothie in to create that stunning layered look. This smoothie reminds me of the vibrant smoothie bowls I've seen in tropical cafes but is so much easier to whip up at home. I love experimenting by adding other tropical fruits like mango or passionfruit for variety. It’s refreshing to have a smoothie that’s not only visually impressive but also nourishing and packed with tropical flavors that truly come through. If you enjoy tropical fruits and want to impress with your smoothie-making skills, this recipe is an absolute must-try. Plus, it’s a great conversation starter when hosting brunch or summer get-togethers with friends! What tropical fruit do you like to add to smoothies? For me, pineapple is a forever favorite, but I love mixing in some mango or a squeeze of lime for an extra zing.
