Banana 🍌 Bread CakePops easy recipe.

Banana Bread Cake Pops

1. Prepare the banana bread according to the package directions. For extra flavor, you can optionally add 2 tablespoons of instant banana cream pudding mix to the batter.

2. Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 45 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

3. While the banana bread is still warm, crumble it into the bowl of a stand mixer (or use your hands). Add 2 tablespoons of buttercream frosting and 1 tablespoon of vanilla bean paste. Mix until the mixture holds together.

4. Roll the mixture into evenly sized cake pops.

5. Melt the chocolate chips according to the package directions. Dip the tip of each cake pop stick into the melted chocolate, then insert it halfway into each cake pop. This helps keep the stick in place.

6. Dip each cake pop into the melted chocolate, allowing the excess chocolate to drip off.

7. Decorate with vanilla wafer cookies while the chocolate is still wet.

8. Let the chocolate set completely before serving. Enjoy!

... Read moreMaking banana bread cake pops is a fantastic way to transform classic banana bread into bite-sized treats perfect for parties or snacks. From my experience, adding the 2 tablespoons of instant banana cream pudding mix to the banana bread batter really enhances the banana flavor and creates a moist texture. This step sets your cake pops apart from ordinary banana bread. When the banana bread is freshly baked and still warm, crumbling it by hand allows you to feel the texture, ensuring it’s soft enough to bind well with the buttercream frosting and vanilla bean paste. I find that the vanilla bean paste adds a natural vanilla aroma without the artificial sweetness, balancing the overall flavor. Rolling the mixture into cake pops is fun but requires a gentle hand to keep the shape uniform. Chilling them for about 15 minutes before dipping into melted chocolate makes the process cleaner and helps the coating set quickly. A tip I recommend is dipping the cake pop stick tip into the melted chocolate before inserting it halfway into the cake pop to securely anchor the stick, preventing it from falling out when eating. For decoration, vanilla wafer cookies add a nostalgic crunch and pair beautifully with the sweet chocolate coating. I usually press the wafers gently onto the wet chocolate to avoid breaking them. Finally, letting the coated cake pops set fully at room temperature or in the refrigerator ensures a hard chocolate shell. These banana bread cake pops are not only crowd-pleasers but also versatile—you can customize them with different coatings or decorations to suit any occasion. Overall, this recipe is a wonderful way to enjoy banana bread in a new and delightful form.
