Free Harvard Classes I’m Taking✨

These are a few of the free Harvard classes I will be taking throughout the next several weeks/months via my personal curriculum.

1- Nuclear dangers around the world, because my family lineage was actually directly impacted by the Hiroshima and Nagasaki bombings. My grandmothers earliest memories were bodies in the street and digging through dumpsters for clean, non radioactive food. This topic I feel deeply on, especially as the rest of the world refuses to stop nuclear weaponry.

2- Buddhism, because while I was raised under the basic principals of Buddhist teachings- I would like a better perspective from a new lens

3- Islam, because I had already taken a curiosity to religious studies from the lens of literature- I want to reassess and reaffirm my knowledge

4- Religious Literacy, I am probably gonna take this one before my two specific religious studies so I can better grasp and comprehend what I’m taking in.

5- Stravinsky, because I was an avid ballerina and quit pretty young- but the ballet always thrills and moves me; I figured a historical class surrounding the ballet and history was super up my alley.

6- CitiesX, because I’m currently writing out a proposal for green spaces in cities and neighborhoods- with a focus on what has been coined as a “solar punk” community.

7- Civic Engagement, because OBVIOUSLY I do not support fascism

8- Tangible Things, honestly- this just sounded pretty neat and I’ve always loved the idea of working in a museum, but my little chef heart can’t step away from the kitchen so I’ll just learn about it 🥹

9-American Govt, again- this is a fairly obvious “take the effing class”

10- Child Protection/Child Rights, because children are also an oppressed group and I don’t think all of us are quite ready for that conversation but as someone who wants to be a mother- I will be taking this class to ensure I raise a good human and do so without infringing on their basic human rights

Anyway, there are like 10 more that I have and want to take and many more available online for everyone to take! Take the free education babes- it will be worth it in the end. #education #personalcurriculum #harvardcourse #selfstudy
