Traveling to 18 different states across the US has been an eye-opening experience for me, and I’d love to share some highlights and tips for anyone interested in exploring these places. South Dakota stands out with its stunning natural landmarks like Mount Rushmore and the Badlands National Park. The blend of history and scenic beauty here makes it a favorite among travelers looking for both culture and adventure. Mississippi offers rich musical heritage, especially with its deep roots in blues music. Visiting places like Clarksdale gave me a genuine feel of American music history and vibrant local culture, which was truly unforgettable. Tennessee's appeal goes beyond Nashville’s country music scene. I enjoyed exploring the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, which offers some of the most scenic hikes and wildlife viewing opportunities in the eastern US. Kentucky surprised me with its horse country charm and bourbon trails. Touring distilleries and the historic sites around Lexington gave me a great sense of the state’s traditions and craftsmanship. In total, I've visited 36% of US states, capturing diverse landscapes, cultures, and histories. Each state has something unique to offer, whether it's outdoor adventures, rich historical narratives, or vibrant local communities. If you’re planning to explore multiple states, I suggest focusing on a mix of nature, culture, and history to get a well-rounded experience. The variety in the states I’ve been to only deepened my appreciation for the vastness and diversity of the US.
