Thrifting is something I’ll always love, and I’ve been on a kick recently to remove alllll clothing in our home that isn’t %100 cotton and it honestly is a great way to help minimize your shopping and what you can buy.
And of course brought some household items home with me too!

I've found that focusing on 100% cotton clothing has helped me create a more comfortable, breathable wardrobe that’s perfect for everyday wear—especially for my kids. Cotton’s natural fibers make the clothes last longer and keep them feeling soft, which is great for sensitive skin. One highlight of my recent haul was an absolutely adorable newborn dress I stumbled upon, perfect for gifting or saving for when the time comes. I also found a few household gems like a vintage bread box for just $4.99, which adds a charming, rustic touch to my kitchen and keeps bread fresher longer. For kids, I picked up a Baby Einstein mini piano and a toddler chair that I plan to restore. These finds are not only budget-friendly but also encourage creativity and play. I always check the books section too; it’s rare I leave a thrift store without adding a children's book or two. Titles like "Go, Dog. Go!" and "The New Answers Book" are great educational and fun reads. Cleaning and refurbishing the finds is part of the fun.
