While sometimes they might tease or even laugh at us—like the playful moment captured where my mom laughed—it’s these genuine interactions that enrich family life and create priceless memories. The occasional hiccup or misunderstanding is just a part of the larger picture of love and support they provide. From my personal experience, the 'only downside' of having great parents is the high standards of love and care they set, which can sometimes feel overwhelming. But looking back, it's clear that those moments of challenge are outweighed by the immense joy and security that come from such a deep familial connection. Family bonds go beyond just support; they teach us resilience, empathy, and how to appreciate the small, everyday moments. Sharing tears, laughter, and heartfelt conversations strengthens these ties. Being open about our emotions and showing vulnerability, as I often do through sharing moments online, helps others relate and realize they’re not alone in their family experiences. Cherishing family means acknowledging the emotional rollercoaster that comes with it while recognizing that these experiences make our relationships more authentic and meaningful. Whether it's celebrating special occasions or navigating tough times, embracing our families fully brings out the best in us.

Oh my! You should know you’re not alone . My youngest daughter is a 24 yr old 4th grade teacher. She lives about 1 hr away and comes home 2-3 a week for dinner with us. A few months ago she called me sobbing so hard I couldn’t understand her. I was terrified. Kept trying to calm her so I could figure out what was going on. Eventually she clearly said. ‘You’re going to die and I can’t do it without you’. It’s heartbreaking to see you both this worried. We will make sure you’re okay before we go. Have faith in yourself and even if we’re not here physically we will always be in your life. In your heart and in your head, in your habits. And I swore to my daughter to always watch for signs because i will send them to her. I will always watch over her. And you should believe this because this video is a sign to me. I need to call my Kate. I really thought she was the only kid that did this. Thought so far into her future and this thought specifically. Try not to think or worry about this. ❤️ Sending big tight hugs to you.
