The whole bakery idea was mine

I’m feeling really conflicted and a little hurt šŸ˜”. The whole bakery idea was mine — from the concept to the interior decoration — and I put in so much work and vision to make it happen. I started this co-business with a friend, thinking we were building something together, sharing ideas, and supporting each other.

Now, she’s planning to open a second location without me, and it feels like all my contributions and efforts are being overlooked. I don’t know if she even realizes how much I’ve invested in the first bakery, both emotionally and creatively.

I’m torn between confronting her and trying to maintain our friendship, or stepping back and letting her handle it her way. How do you deal with a business partner who sidelines you from opportunities you helped create?

Take your recipes, belongings and whatever you helped with. If she wants a 2nd store without you it can be without your input
